Bye Bye Birdie
The musical that "started it all" on the Spring Lake Theatre stage, returns after over forty years! A loving tribute to the 1950's, small town America, teenagers and rock n roll, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob, Conrad Birdie has been drafted. He chooses All-American girl, Kim McAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Many hilarious sub-plots develop as Sweet Apple, Ohio prepares for the big event. Put on a Happy Face, Kids, One Last Kiss, A lot of Livin' to Do that promise to add to this fun filled treat.      **Matinee at 2:00pm and 7:30 PM www.springlaketheatre.com

THE CAPITOL STEPS: Orange Is the New Barack
Celebrate Presidents' Day weekend with The Capitol Steps<https://www.broadwayworld.com/people/Capitol-Steps/>, America's premiere political-musical-satire troupe, with its newest show Orange Is the New Barack. Driven by the national news (both fake and real), The Capitol Steps delivers hot-off-the-presses lampooning of the political climate (which ironically keeps changing!). Don't miss this troupe of professional musical theater talents, singing and dancing their way through such classics as "Rockin' Robin (Tweet Tweet)," "Don't Know Much About History" and, everyone's favorite in Moscow, "Putin on the Blitz."

March 3, 10, 17, 23, 24 at 8 PM, March 4, 11, 18, 25 at 3 PM, March 17 at 2PM
Ragtime is set in the volatile melting pot of turn-of-the-century New York and yet proves both timely and brand new as reinvented by Broadway choreographer Luis Salgado, whose production of In the Heights created such a sensation at the Axelrod last season. Ragtime won the 1998 Tony Awards for Best Score, Book and Orchestrations, and both the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical and Best Score.
